Picked up this metal rod to see how the finish would look against our cabinet hardware, and the color is spot-on. Nice heft to it for such a small sample.

The little rod came in a nice matte finish that matched the photos exactly, which is rare. Good weight to it too, so you can really get a feel for the color in person before committing to a full fixture.

The brushed brass sample has such a satisfying heft to it, and the 3-inch rod length makes it easy to hold up against my cabinet hardware. I've been indecisive about finishes for weeks, but this cleared it up in one afternoon.
