Was pleasantly surprised how bright this little bulb is for only 5 watts — it easily lights up my whole reading corner. The 550 lumens feels just like my old 60-watt incandescent but uses a fraction of the electricity.

I was skeptical that 5 watts could really match the old 60W bulbs, but the light output is genuinely comparable and the COB chip gives a clean, even glow with no hotspot. My only nitpick is the base runs a touch warm, though nothing concerning.

Swapped out four 60-watt incandescent bulbs in my kitchen for these and the light is nearly identical, maybe slightly cooler. They run warm to the touch but nowhere near as hot as the old ones, which is a relief in a small fixture.
