Swapped these into my under-cabinet fixtures and the light is warmer and cleaner than the old halogens, no flicker at all. Output feels close to the 20w bulbs they replaced, which surprised me for how little they pull.

At 2.5 watts it's a tiny draw but the 250 lumens are plenty bright for the hallway fixture. The G8 base fit snugly and it's nice not worrying about heat like the old halogen.
